Testability Verification Test Method of False Alarm Rate for Torpedo Based on Built-in Test and Automatic Test Equipment Teamwork

  • The false alarm rate is one of the main problems blocking the development of torpedo testability technology. In this paper, a verification test method of false alarm rate for a torpedo is presented based on the combination of built-in test (BIT) and automatic test equipment(ATE) together with manual testing and comprehensive diagnosis. By comparing the characteristics of verification test between spontaneous faults and simulation faults, spontaneous faults are selected as the verification test sample. The verification test method is discussed from the aspects of test preparations, imple-mentation procedure and test scheme. Example verifies the correctness and rationality of the present method.
