Parameters Identification of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Recursive Least Squares

  • For the change of the electromagnetic parameters of a permanent magnet synchronous motor in running, a steady-state model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is deduced to identify the resistance and inductance of the motor online by means of recursive least squares(RLS). Simulation via Matlab/Simulink demonstrates that the proposed parameters identification method is accurate, reliable and easy to implement, and RLS can track the electromagnetic parameters accurately.
