A Conception of Anti-Torpedo Suspended Mine

  • To develop new defensive measure of submarine against torpedo attack and improve its survival probability, a conception of anti-torpedo suspended mine is proposed. The basic principle of the suspended mine is elaborated, and the system configuration is designed. Further, the design principles of fuse and suspending mechanism are discussed in de-tail, and the action radius of the mine is calculated. The anti-torpedo suspended mine is expected to be a powerful weapon for submarine to defense torpedo attacks.
