Development of Dynamic Parameter Measurement Device for Sonar Transducer Based on AD5933 Impedance Analysis Chip

  • To conduct measurement of dynamic parameters of a shipboard sonar transducer in maintenance, a device for measuring dynamic parameters of the sonar transducer was developed. STM32F103 was taken as the master control module, and AD5933 impedance analysis chip was adopted to calculate the conductance and admittance of the transducer on the basis of the measured frequency responses of small signals with different frequencies. According to the admittance characteristic curve, an algorithm for calculating the dynamic parameters was proposed and programmed, thus the parameters could be calculated rapidly and accurately without admittance circle fitting. Practical application has shown that this device is portable and is easy in application, and it measures dynamic parameters of sonar transducer automatically with satisfactory accuracy.
