Methods of Life Prolonged Test and Life Assessment for Torpedo

  • In view of the status that a large number of torpedoes in active service need to prolong life at present or in the future, different life prolonged test methods for different level torpedo products after repair are proposed. Accelerated storage life test and service life test of component level products are combined with whole torpedo function check and whole torpedo shelf test, and then on the basis of life prolonged test, a comprehensive assessment of torpedo life is carried out to draw a conclusion whether a torpedo can meet the prolonged years or not for the purpose of guiding continue service, maintenance or support of torpedo weapon.
