Review of Protocols, Simulation and Experimentation for Underwater Acoustic Communication Network

  • Underwater acoustic communication network has significant applications in underwater environment perception, resource exploration, location navigation, etc. This paper reviews the key technologies, index evaluation, simulation tools and large-scale experiments of underwater acoustic communication network. The hierarchical structure and evaluation index of underwater acoustic communication network are introduced, the current main simulation tools and methods for underwater acoustic communication network simulation are analyzed, and the present see-trial scale and results of underwater acoustic communication network in the world are summarized. In addition, the key technologies and development directions of underwater acoustic communication network in the future are given.
