2017, 25(新刊2): 107-150. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.001
Abstract:
The Department of Defense(DoD) of the United States had published four editions of Unmanned Systems Integrated Roadmap during 2007~2013 to present the integrated development strategy and plan of unmanned aircraft systems(UASs), unmanned maritime systems(UMSs), and unmanned ground systems(UGSs) for future 25 years with emphases on the cross-domain cooperative combat capability of various unmanned systems and the common technologies. Subsequently, some DoD organizations and military services released a series of research reports on unmanned systems. In 2016, U.S. Navy submitted the report Autonomous Undersea Vehicles Requirement for 2025 to the congress, in which some new concepts, such as Seabed Warfare and Counter-AUV Warfare, were proposed. The Defense Science Board(DSB) provided detailed recommendations in its study report Autonomy for accelerating adoption of autonomous technology. A DSB task force suggested in its report Next-Generation Unmanned Undersea Systems that the low-cost unmanned undersea systems which could be deployed in large numbers should be greatly developed to maintain and enhance the American undersea advantage. This paper reviews the above reports, introduces the new classification method for UUVs and the change of UUV mission requirement of U.S. Navy, and describes in detail some critical technology domains of UUV, such as interoperability, autonomy, communication, advanced navigation, manned-unmanned (MUM) teaming, persistent resilience, and weaponry. The issues about logistics and sustainment of UUV, training, and force structure are discussed. Development trend of UUVs is outlined. And some viewpoints on UUV development are described. As a result, suggestions are offered that the concepts of operation and development of UUV should be explored; the most important aspects of UUV development and employment should be taken as system of systems (SoS) based on operation, low cost, interoperatability and modularity, etc.; top organization for governing all unmanned systems should be established; new acquisition procedure of UUV in civil and military integration mode, as well as new sustainment mode and strategy, should be explored; and UUV concept of employment should be investigated simultaneously with the devel-opment of UUV technologies.

2017, 25(新刊2): 161-166. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.003
Abstract:
To solve the non-deterministic polynomial hard(NP-hard) problem of test selection in the design for testability of weapon system, an optimal test selection method based on simulated annealing-improved binary particle swarm optimization(SA-IBPSO) algorithm is proposed to acquire the best complete test set. This algorithm is on the basis of binary particle swarm optimization(BPSO), and uses asynchronous dynamic learning divisors to obtain time-varying contraction factor, which facilitates the global searching speed, guarantees the convergence of BPSO, and abrogates the boundary constraint of particle velocity in BPSO. And the simulated annealing algorithm with probabilistic jumping ability is combined to prevent BPSO from converging to local optimum. Simulation test shows that compared with other algorithms, the proposed algorithm is more effective in acquiring global optimal solution to optimal test selection.

2017, 25(新刊2): 167-174. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.004
Abstract:
To reveal the complex flow field characteristics after underwater detonation of the pulse detonation engine (PDE), a theoretical model of multi-phase detonation out of PDE tube was established following the principle of Mixture multiphase flow model. The Simple algorithm was used to simulate the process of gas injecting into the flow field. The formation and development of bubbles and the characteristics of initial flow field were investigated. The phenomena of neck shrinkage and reflow during jet injection were analyzed. And the distribution and variation of pressure and velocity in the flow field were discussed. Numerical simulation shows that underwater detonation waves make the flow field produce a strong blending effect with some complex shock structures, and the jet in the water produces bulging and necking phenomena. This study may provide theoretical guidance for performance research of underwater PDE.

2017, 25(新刊2): 180-183. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.006
Abstract:
Under the restriction of underwater battlefield environment, cooperative operation of submarines is of the difficulty and bottleneck in submarine operation. Fortunately, an unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) can play an important role in submarine cooperative operation under the condition of informatization. Aiming at the characteristics of UUV-submarine coordinated operation(USCO), this paper analyzes the requirements of USCO as well as the connotation and applicability of Petri net, describes the processes of single submarine operation and USCO, and discusses the Petri model elements. As a result, the USCO models based on object-oriented Petri net are constructed to provide a new method for the research on USCO.

Abstract:
To enhance the probability of successful interception of a vessel using a suspended depth charge to attack a wake homing torpedo, three states of a wake homing torpedo entering the wake of the vessel under elusive maneuver are analyzed, and the judgment and resolving methods of firing lead angle of the torpedo entering the vessel wake are proposed. The methods can be used to calculate the range of potential attacking course of a wake homing torpedo, so as to provide a reference for anti-torpedo operation.

2017, 25(新刊2): 188-192. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.008
Abstract:
O-ring seal structure is widely used in the weapon systems of air and ship, and its sealing performance directly affect the operational mission of the weapon systems. The existing design methods of O-ring seal do not sufficiently consider the effects of manufacturing tolerance, medium pressure fluctuation, etc., on the reliability of O-ring sealing performance, and cannot give quantitative value of reliability index. In this paper, the stress-strength interference theory is employed to establish a limit state function of O-ring seal structure considering the influencing factors mentioned above, and corresponding calculation method of reliability is proposed. Then, reliability of the O-ring seal structure for an underwater vehicle is calculated by the software FREET. This study may provide a reference for design of O-ring seal structure.

2017, 25(新刊2): 198-204. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.010
Abstract:
To understand the working performance of a launcher′s special speed reducer, a dynamic model of the reducer′s gear transmission system is established based on the theory of meshing error by considering the manufacturing error, installation error, gear floating, and system elasticity. This mathematical model is solved to analyze the transient working load and torque transmission characteristics of the reducer, hence the linear relations of the errors with the load sharing coefficient and the torque vibration are achieved. This study may provide a reference for further study of the special speed reducer of torpedo launcher.

2017, 25(新刊2): 205-210. doi: 10.11993/j.issn.2096-3920.2017.02.011
Abstract:
To conduct measurement of dynamic parameters of a shipboard sonar transducer in maintenance, a device for measuring dynamic parameters of the sonar transducer was developed. STM32F103 was taken as the master control module, and AD5933 impedance analysis chip was adopted to calculate the conductance and admittance of the transducer on the basis of the measured frequency responses of small signals with different frequencies. According to the admittance characteristic curve, an algorithm for calculating the dynamic parameters was proposed and programmed, thus the parameters could be calculated rapidly and accurately without admittance circle fitting. Practical application has shown that this device is portable and is easy in application, and it measures dynamic parameters of sonar transducer automatically with satisfactory accuracy.

Abstract:
The attacking fixed target test of a passive acoustic homing torpedo is important for assessing whether its passive acoustic homing range satisfies the general requirement of design. The passive acoustic homing distance for a torpedo to capture target is related to the performance of the homing system and the test situation. In this paper, the receiving beam configuration of the passive acoustic homing torpedo, the test route of attacking a fixed target and the supporting vehicle drift are analyzed, an influencing model of supporting vehicle drift on capturing target distance of the passive acoustic homing torpedo is established, and a drift correction method is proposed. A practical example verifies the effectiveness of this method.
