A Biomimetic Estimator of Range with High-Resolution

摘要: 蝙蝠所具有的回声定位系统可以使其在恶劣环境中准确地捕食猎物, 其卓越的距离分辨能力为现有主动信息处理系统提升距离分辨力提供了可能的解决方案。基于此, 从研究蝙蝠回声定位信号处理模型入手, 对模型参数进行仿生化, 并应用一种修正基函数, 使其可以应用于水下主动信息处理系统高频段, 以提升水下主动系统的距离分辨力。仿真结果表明, 仿生处理可以很好地分辨混叠大的目标回波, 提升了距离分辨力, 且性能优于相关器。Abstract: This paper analyzes the bat echolocating model, biomimetically changes the parameters of the model, and uses a modified basis vector to apply the model to the underwater active systems within a high-frequency band. Simula-tion results show that the range estimator based on the biomimetic signal processing model can distinguish the aliasing echoes distinctly to improve the range resolution with better performance than that of the correlator.
