An Improved Starting Method of Contra-rotating Brushless DC Motor Using Voltage Pulses Injection

摘要: 为解决反电势法无法实现电机自起动的问题, 结合对转无刷直流电机永磁体转子的凸极性, 提出了一种改进的电压脉冲注入定位起动方法, 该方法通过向电机电枢绕组注入开关电压矢量, 利用电压矢量产生的电流响应估计转子位置角, 以此实现电机的转子定位、起动和加速。试验结果验证了该方法的有效性。Abstract: An improved starting method is proposed to solve the problem that brushless DC motor cannot self-start under the sensorless control strategy of back electromotive force(EMF) method. The salient polarity of the permanent magnet rotor is utilized for contra-rotating brushless DC motor. In the proposed method, voltage pulses are injected to arma-ture-rotor of the motor, and the corresponding current response are sampled for estimating the angle of rotor position, so two rotors of the contra-rotating brushless DC motor can be positioned, started and then accelerated. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated experimentally.
