A Structured Grid Processing Method for Torpedo with Varying Angle of Rudder

摘要: 针对鱼雷变舵角工况计算流体力学(CFD)流场计算中网格划分环节, 以“十”字形全动舵、“十”字形翼端舵两类鳍/舵布局为对象, 提出了一种快捷高效的多结构化网格处理方法。结合结构网格有利于对近壁面网格精细控制、保证其求解精度高的特点, 采用多块结构化网格划分思路, 把鳍/舵局部流场区域从全雷整体域中分离出来, 形成多块计算域, 在各自独立坐标系下划分结构化网格, 通过多块耦合方法形成全流场计算域网格。减小了网格划分工作难度, 避免了重复性, 提高了设计计算效率和精度。经计算结果验证, 本文方法有效可行, 可推广适用于绕定轴旋转等局部小范围变化的几何构型。Abstract: This paper proposes a quick and efficient processing method of multi-block structured grid for torpedo with cross-shaped all-movable rudder or cross-shaped fin-tip rudder. Making use of structured grid, which is advantageous to exquisitely control near-wall′s mesh quality and achieve high solution precision, a method for dividing structured grid based on multi-block technology is presented. Local flow-field zones of fin or rudder are separated from whole torpedo domain to form multiple blocks, and structured grid is divided within each block by using independent coordinate frame. Then the grid of computation domain of whole flow-field is constructed. This method can simplify grid-dividing process, shorten grid-dividing time, and improve calculation efficiency and precision. Simulation result coincides with tunnel test one, indicating the proposed method is available for the geometries with small movement, such as rotation around a fixed axis.
