Necessity and Technical Feasibility Analysis on the Missions of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles in US Navy

摘要: 在介绍无人水下航行器发展历史的基础上, 从开发成本、技术风险、使用风险和可替代物等方面, 详细论述了美国海军2004年无人水下航行器发展主计划中定义的9类使命任务的必要性和技术可行性。最后, 从近期技术发展和军事需求出发, 对美国兰德公司提出的无人水下航行器7项近期使命任务进行了分析, 认为以上任务均合理可行。

Abstract: Starting with the developmental history of unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), we first discuss the necessity and technical feasibility of the nine missions defined in the 2004 master plan of UUV by US Navy with respect to developing cost, technical risk, application risk, and alternatives. Then we analyze the seven near-term military missions of UUV, which were recommended by the RAND, in view of the technical progress and military needs, and think the missions are rational and feasible.-
