Experimental Study on Reflective Properties of Combined Underwater Targets

摘要: 根据声学软的物体目标强度高于声学硬的物体这一声学理论, 研究了水中气泡和充气圆柱的反射特性, 得出上述2种物体在低频时都表现有共振特性, 可以得到较大的目标强度。并基于此对气泡构成的平面阵列和充气圆柱构成的圆柱阵列的反射特性进行了研究, 通过利用乳胶管和气泡板等做成的实物模型进行的水池试验验证得出, 气泡和有限充气圆柱可以作为基本的散射单元来构成符合要求的组合式水下目标体。试验同时证明, 由气泡或者充气圆柱构成的平面阵列, 在间距小的时候可以等效为一个空气层, 其反射系数为-1。Abstract: Acoustic scattering theory shows that acoustically soft reflectors provide higher target strength values than similarly sized hard reflectors. This study focused on the reflective properties of water bubbles and air cylinders, which show the resonance characteristics in low frequency and correspondingly provide larger target strength values. The reflective properties of the plane array of bubbles and cylinders were studied through water-tank experiment with physical models, and the bubbles or cylinders were found could be taken as a basic unit to form a combined underwater target in accordance with the requirements. The experiment demonstrated that when the wave length is much longer than the bubble spacing, the individual bubbles are not acoustically resolved, and the plane array of bubbles or air cylinders can be equivalent to a thin homogeneous air plate with reflectivity of -1.
