Performance of Stepless-Speed Swashplate Piston Enginewith Variable Fuel Pump

摘要: 对于开式循环热动力推进系统实施转速闭环控制是提高武器效能的方法之一。本文从热动力推进系统发展无级变速的必要性、可实现性以及安全特性的角度出发,提出了基于变量燃料泵的活塞式发动机无级变速转速闭环控制技术方案,变量燃料泵可满足在任意指令工况(变速、变深)的流量要求,发动机控制单元(ECU)采用变结构控制律可实现无级变速及稳定工况的控制精度。仿真结果表明,基于变量燃料泵的转速闭环控制系统可以满足活塞式发动机的性能要求,说明无级变速技术热动力推进系统应用在鱼雷中是可行的。Abstract: The stepless-speed control for operating performance of thermal propulsion system is a key technology to increase torpedo range and hitting probability. This paper establishes mathematical models of main parts through analyzing torpedo′s thermal engine and propeller, and presents a stepless-speed control scheme with close-loop mode for swashplate piston engine with variable fuel pump. The control laws are obtained for computer simulation using variable structure control method. The algorithm of integrated control laws achieves easier computation for engine control unit(ECU). Simulation results show that the speed error meets the requirements of engine system under the preset angle of torpedo trajectory and the transition process of changing speed. The control laws can eliminate the vibration of system and has good performance of tracking engine speed.
