A Signal Detection Algorithm Based on Fourth-order Cumulant

摘要: 针对高斯噪声中对称分布的非高斯信号及正弦信号的检测问题,提出了以匹配滤波器输出的4阶累积量零延迟的绝对值为检验统计量的检测器算法,详细分析了算法的检测性能,给出了检测概率和虚警概率表达式。理论分析和仿真结果均表明,该算法可以在高斯色噪声中有效检测对称分布的非高斯信号,其性能优于高斯色噪声下的匹配滤波器。Abstract: Aiming at the detection of the symmetric distributed non-Gaussian and CW signals in additive Gaussian noise, this paper proposes a detection algorithm which taking the absolute value of zeroth lag of the fourth-order cumulant from the matched filter (MF) output as a testing statistical data,derives the expressions of detection probability and false alarm probability,and introduces the test property of the algorithm.Theoretical analysis and simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm performs better than the matched filter under Gaussian colored noise.
